Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party
I neglected my camera a bit this weekend but luckily some other gals picked up the slack. My camera is too big to lug around when I’m trying to have a “good time” (if you know what I mean), so some of these are from a disposable camera – my trustworthy back up. Enjoy.
The bridal shower…
I felt like Michelle Obama in my J. Crew ensemble, complete with pencil skirt.
My BFF Sara came to visit all the way from Long Island. She’s one of my six bridesmaids.
There was lots of gift opening…
I got so many amazing presents! I felt very loved. 
Happy dance.
There was wonderful food too, but unfortunately I didn’t get any pics! For shame!
Later that evening us girls got together for my bachelorette party. It wouldn’t have been a party without some phallic-inspired jewelry.
And provocative dancing….
Mostly all on my part….
Here we all are, out on the “town.” We were in my hometown which is quite small, but we made the most of the bar scene. We brought the party. My sister Emily is behind me, Sara’s below me, Joe’s sister-in-law Callie to the right of her, and the rest are Joe’s cousins. A family affair.
Twas a great night.
I can’t believe I’m going to be a bride in a little over a month!
I also wanted to share Joe’s parents new kitten, Punkin. She’s one of the prettiest cats I’ve ever seen.
