Project FOAM
I find that giving myself mini photography assignments keeps me most motivated to keep up with daily shooting. I haven’t been too good at that lately. Starting today I plan to take a picture of some kind of Food, something Outside, something Abstract, and some sort of shot of Myself. I’ll collage the images together and do it all over again tomorrow.
Why these 4 things? Well, they’re easily accessible, and they’re things I encounter every day. It’s an effort to stop, look, appreciate, and illustrate my surroundings. All with an injection of creativity.
Hence, Project FOAM. I’m not sure how long I plan to do this but I’m thinking at least 50 days? We’ll see how it goes… this is all in addition to my “regular” shooting, of course.
Day One:

Each day is going to be drastically different which should be interesting.
Here’s some other shots I took tonight in the park while teaching my last night of Intro to Digital Photography for teens:

A lovely evening. See you tomorrow for FOAM day two, and hopefully some more interesting images…
