Scattered

Joe’s been working a lot lately which means we don’t eat dinner together so our meals are somewhat scattered. I’ve been dropping him off down at the stadium and by the time I get home I just throw random things together. Last night it was an assortment of ham, pancakes, and grapefruit. Mmm… :)

I started with this mix and added vanilla and cinnamon to give it a little more flavor.

I ate the ham while the pancakes piled up…

Here’s the final view as I sat down (I finished the ham before the pancakes were done).

The top 2 things are maple syrup in a dish, and my beloved SIGG water bottle.

Today’s Pirates game started at 12:35 so Joe had to be at the stadium before 10 am. I dropped him off and did the grocery shopping which took quite a long time. I went to 3 different grocery stores and the produce market. What can I say, I shop around! I know where to get the best things for the best price, so I don’t mind spending a couple hours going around to different places. And it was nice to be alone for one so I could spend as much time as I wanted (don’t tell Joe!).

Even though our kitchen is now stocked with goodies, I just wanted something simple for lunch. I started with a vanilla Oikos (mmm), and topped it off with some cinnamon raisin flavored granola.

On the side I had a full plate of fruits & veggies. So fresh and delicious!

And here’s your daily dose of Sonny. He was interested in my camera until he heard something outside…

Well it’s the top of the 7th at the Pirates game, and I’m hoping to clean the kitchen, shred & shower before I have to go pick up Joe. Better get a move on!

Hope you’re having a nice weekend – See you later! :)

That pancake mix sounds fantastic – I love multigrain anything! I hope this isn’t too intrusive but I was just wondering what Joe’s job was with the Pirates?

I think that he really wants to be the lead off hitter.
