Short & Sweet
Lunch today was considerably less extravagant than yesterday, for several reasons. First off, I don’t plan to run today – so no extra fuel needed, and second, we’re going to out to dinner tonight so I’m trying to save my indulgences for then! But lunch was still filling & delish.
I think since I used water in my oats this morning instead of milk I was craving the missing protein. I was feelin’ a bowl of Cinnamon Puffins – so that’s what I had.
A nice cold bowl of cereal felt great today – it’s a lovely 50ยบ out!
I also had a wonderfully tart & juicy grapefruit:

Here it is with popcorn & penguins (both of which are dwindling fast – we’re almost out!):
And we made sure the last cupcake didn’t go to waste!
Sonny laid on the table and hung out with us. Notice that he is laying on the bottom tray of a ceramic flower pot.
Since it is so “warm” out, we plan to go for a nice long walk before we go to the restaurant for our 6:00 reservations. I’ll be searching hard for any signs of spring out there!

And I lurve your precious Sonny! He and my Mylo would love each other. Only Mylo hasn’t seen another cat since he was, well, probably 3 weeks old (I found him at four weeks old!). Are cats not the bomb-dig? Did you know that at the heart of every cat is A WOMAN? It’s true, I swear

And Sonny hadn’t seen another cat for almost a year (we got him as a baby too), so when we adopted Rosie it was quite a shock for him. He has little to no social skills, so he’s not very good at treating her well or playing nice! But she’s taught him a lot, like how to stop biting!
I am loving this warm up we’ve been getting! It needs to stick around
